
The United Arab Emirates has made a remarkable leap in the Global Soft Power Index 2025, securing 10th place worldwide. The announcement came during the annual Soft Power Conference in London, where it was also revealed that the UAE’s national brand value has grown from $1 trillion to over $1.223 trillion.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, shared his pride in this milestone. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he highlighted the UAE’s growing influence under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He emphasized that the country has established itself as a trusted global partner in driving progress, stability, and development.
The Soft Power Index, published by Brand Finance, evaluates countries based on economic strength, diplomacy, innovation, cultural influence, and social stability. The 2025 report assessed 193 nations, gathering insights from over 173,000 business leaders, policymakers, and experts across various industries.
The UAE didn’t just break into the top 10; it also ranked among the world’s best in several key areas:
- 4th place for future growth potential, generosity, and humanitarian initiatives.
- 7th place for economic resilience and strength.
- 8th place for global influence and impact.
- 9th place in diplomatic relations, international reputation, and technological innovation.
- 10th place in space exploration and global recognition.
This latest milestone reflects the UAE’s commitment to progress, innovation, and international collaboration. With a clear vision for the future, the country continues to shape the global landscape and inspire nations around the world.
