Emirati children took center stage at the UAE Pavilion during the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair, bringing brightness and innovation with their literary and artistic talents. Their work represented a vibrant generation of young creators, conveying powerful messages beyond their years and proudly showcasing the depth of Emirati culture to an international audience.
Organized by the UAE Embassy in Beijing in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, this participation emphasized the strong UAE spirit of leadership, distinction, and cultural richness.
The children presented an array of works they authored and illustrated themselves—including picture stories and interactive books inspired by Emirati heritage and the value of tolerance. They also hosted live workshops on-site, teaching visitors the basics of creative writing and cartoon drawing. Multilingual story readings in Arabic and Chinese served to deepen cultural ties between the UAE and China.
Among the participants was 10-year-old Al Dhabi Al Muhairi, founder of “Rainbow Chimney”—a children’s publishing house featuring works created by kids. Recognized in the Guinness World Records as the youngest publisher and columnist, and recipient of the UK Diana Award, Al Muhairi expressed her pride in contributing to efforts that empower children and support sustainable education.
She noted that the fair offered a global platform to share the UAE’s mission of childhood empowerment, cultural consciousness, environmental stewardship, and humanity. Alongside her younger siblings—Sa’eed Al Muhairi, the world’s youngest author, and Maha Al Muhairi, the youngest female writer—the trio formed an inspiring Emirati example, underlining how culture and reading shape future generations.
