In the high-paced world of law enforcement, where discipline and dedication are the cornerstones of daily service, Sergeant Amina Rashid Al Bloushi of Dubai Police has carved out a unique and inspiring path. As a patrol leader in the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency, Al Bloushi has become a symbol of excellence—both on and off duty.
For the past four years, Al Baloushi has patrolled the Bur Dubai area without recording a single traffic accident or violation. Her remarkable record earned her recognition in the seventh edition of the “Safe Driving Stars” initiative, a prestigious event organized by Dubai Police’s General Department of Transport and Rescue in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim–Genesis and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company. Out of 65 honorees, she was the only woman celebrated.
What makes her story even more compelling is her life outside the uniform. Al Baloushi is a mother to seven children, including a set of triplets. Balancing such a large family with a demanding role in law enforcement would seem daunting to many, but for her, it’s a calling. She attributes her success to her continuous training and deep love for driving and fieldwork.
“Since I started leading patrols, I have never had a traffic accident. This stems from consistent training and a genuine passion for both driving and police work,” Al Bloushi explained. Her enthusiasm extends beyond the operational; she finds motivation in the community’s reaction to seeing a woman in a police patrol car. “People’s encouragement and support, especially when they see a woman in uniform responding to incidents, inspire me to give my best every day.”
Despite her professional achievements, Al Bloushi remains firmly grounded in her family responsibilities. “Once I’m home, I shift focus entirely. I prepare meals, help my children with schoolwork, and make sure I’m involved in every aspect of their academic life,” she said with pride.
