The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has officially concluded a global promotional tour aimed at highlighting the upcoming edition of Expand North Star 2025. Organized in partnership with the Dubai World Trade Centre, this major event will be held at Dubai Harbour from October 12 to 15, 2025. It is positioned as one of the largest gatherings for startups and investors worldwide, serving as a gateway for innovation, networking, and global market expansion.
As part of the campaign, the Chamber visited 16 cities across key markets including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam. These roadshows engaged more than 2,000 digital startups and over 215 business ecosystem stakeholders, including venture capital firms, digital incubators, and government representatives from the tech and innovation sectors.
The international tour was designed to raise awareness about the significant opportunities available through participating in Expand North Star 2025. It also aimed to attract high-potential startups and entrepreneurs to Dubai, emphasizing the emirate’s strategic advantages such as its investor-friendly environment, tech-forward infrastructure, and policy support for digital innovation.
Each city stop included informative presentations on Dubai’s competitive advantages and the wide array of support services offered by the Chamber to startups seeking to expand into the UAE and the broader Middle East region. These sessions also featured live pitch competitions, giving innovative startups a chance to showcase their ideas in front of judges and potential investors. Winners received fully funded invitations to take part in the upcoming event in Dubai.
In addition, selected finalists were granted the opportunity to compete in the final round of the Supernova Challenge, the largest startup pitch competition in the region, which will be held during Expand North Star 2025. This contest is a key feature of the event, offering startups the chance to gain global exposure, attract investment, and win significant cash prizes.

The event will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, from startup founders and tech innovators to investors and policy makers.
