Sultan Al Neyadi Concludes Al Ain Youth Week

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, the UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs, graciously led the closing ceremony of Al Ain Youth Week, hosted at Zayed Central Library from July 14–20, 2025, aligning with International Youth Skills Day. The event highlighted the creativity and ambition of Al Ain’s young visionaries.

At the exhibition, Dr. Al Neyadi toured the displays and engaged with poise and curiosity, listening as participants—both young men and women—presented their innovative projects and entrepreneurial ideas. Their work spanned a range of fields, from cutting-edge technology to sustainable practices.

During the ceremony, Jassim Al‑Ubaidli, Director of Youth Engagement at the Federal Youth Authority, praised the youth’s achievements and applauded the efforts of Al Ain Youth Council. He stressed that the success of workshops, dialogue sessions, sports events, and exhibitions is thanks to the combined efforts of government bodies, private sector partners, and volunteers. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteer teams and Emirati youth for their central role in making this initiative possible.

Muslim Hamoud Al‑Durai, Chairman of Al Ain Youth Council, recapped the week’s dynamic program: in‑depth dialogue sessions, specialized workshops, diverse sporting events, and innovative exhibitions that empowered youth to showcase their impactful projects and inspiring experiences. He highlighted the event’s focus on six critical pillars essential to youth development:

  • Positive citizenship

  • Arabic language promotion

  • Sustainability & environmental stewardship

  • Artificial intelligence

  • Talent & arts development

  • Entrepreneurship

The ceremony culminated with Dr. Al Neyadi honoring all participating entities and supporters who contributed to the success of Al Ain Youth Week.

Why this matters:

  • Youth empowerment in action: The week-long program offered a comprehensive platform for skill-building and networking in key growth areas.

  • Holistic development: Covering sustainability, AI, culture, sports, and entrepreneurship underscores a well-rounded vision for youth engagement.

  • Collaborative impact: Public-private partnerships and volunteer contributions made the initiative possible—reflecting the UAE’s community-driven ethos.

In essence, Al Ain Youth Week exemplified how targeted programming and institutional support can enable the next generation to thrive—showcasing their potential and contributions across cultural, environmental, and economic domains.
