In a continued effort to promote road safety among the younger generation, the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, in collaboration with the General Department of Anti-Narcotics—represented by the Hemaya International Center—has launched a series of educational and recreational activities targeting students participating in summer programs across Dubai and Hatta.

The initiative is part of a broader student engagement campaign organized by Dubai Police under the slogan “Our Summer: Security and Happiness… Innovation and Leadership.” The program is conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai, and several other external entities.

These events focused on primary and preparatory school students and aimed to teach essential traffic safety concepts through creative, interactive methods. Activities ranged from educational games and demonstrations to safety-themed challenges, ensuring students not only learned important lessons but also enjoyed the process.

Brigadier Essam Al Awar, Acting Deputy Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, emphasized that the initiative reflects Dubai Police’s strategic vision to foster traffic awareness through innovative approaches that combine learning with entertainment. “We believe in engaging youth in meaningful ways to instill lifelong habits of safety and responsibility on the roads,” he said.

By blending education with enjoyment, Dubai Police is working to prepare a generation of safer, more aware future drivers and pedestrians. Through these interactive efforts, they aim to build a culture of responsibility and awareness that stays with students well beyond the summer months.
