In a significant step forward, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the “Nabd Al Emarat” volunteer team. The partnership is designed to deepen the culture of volunteering across the emirate, align humanitarian efforts, and strengthen community-driven initiatives that support sustainable development and quality of life.

The agreement was formalized by Major General Awadh Mohammed Ghanem Saeed Al Awaim, Assistant Director General of Human Resources and Finance at GDRFA-Dubai, and Dr. Khalid Nawab Al Baloushi, Head of the Nabd Al Emarat team.

Under the memorandum, both parties will collaborate on organizing social and humanitarian initiatives, sharing expertise, and exchanging knowledge to raise the efficiency of volunteer work. The partnership will also ensure that efforts are united in supporting national events, while making use of media platforms to amplify the message of compassion, service, and community engagement.

This collaboration highlights the vital role of GDRFA-Dubai in empowering community partnerships and promoting civic responsibility. By bringing together institutional resources and the energy of dedicated volunteers, the agreement guarantees that initiatives are delivered with professionalism, continuity, and real social value.
