Dubai’s hotel industry is enjoying a strong year, with revenues hitting AED 11.1 billion in the first seven months of 2025. That’s a significant 11.5% increase compared to the AED 9.95 billion earned during the same period in 2024, according to newly released data.
This growth isn’t just about higher prices. The total number of hotel nights booked between January and July rose by 4%, reaching 25.53 million nights—up from 24.51 million a year earlier. Average revenue per available room (RevPAR) also improved, climbing 7% to AED 435, compared to AED 406 in the previous year.
These numbers reflect more than just strong performance—they speak to Dubai’s growing appeal as a global destination for both leisure and business travelers. The city has become a hotbed of competition for international hotel brands, many of which are expanding their presence to capture a larger slice of the booming market.
Over the past few years, Dubai has steadily climbed the ranks of the world’s top tourism hubs, and its hotel sector has followed suit. Key performance indicators—including revenue per room, daily room rates, occupancy levels, and overall capacity—have all maintained an upward trajectory.
Hotels across the emirate are reaping the benefits, with many achieving record-breaking performance. This is not just good news for the hospitality industry but also a sign of the wider economic momentum fueled by international tourism.
What’s fueling this rise? Part of the answer lies in the city’s packed calendar of events. Dubai continues to draw massive crowds with a lineup of global exhibitions, conferences, and festivals. With major events like GITEX Global and the Dubai Airshow returning this year, the coming months are expected to bring even higher occupancy rates and sustained revenue growth.
Looking ahead, the city is poised for continued success, especially as it prepares for the busy winter season. Dubai’s ability to attract both tourists and major international events ensures that its hotel sector remains one of the most dynamic and resilient in the world.
