As part of its ongoing mission to promote creativity and knowledge, the Museum of the Future has announced the launch of the “Knowledge Forum”, in partnership with the Great Arab Minds initiative. The program features a series of in-depth, focused lectures delivered by distinguished Arab figures who previously won awards through the initiative founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

With a limited number of seats available, the forum is designed to offer participants a high-quality, interactive experience. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to engage directly with some of the Arab world’s most influential thinkers, exchanging ideas and gaining valuable insight in a rich and intellectually stimulating environment.

A Space for Innovation and Deep Dialogue

The Knowledge Forum aims to spark creativity and promote dialogue across various fields such as science, technology, literature, arts, architecture, design, economics, and medicine. It targets professionals, students, and knowledge seekers, offering them a platform to participate in meaningful conversations and expand their intellectual horizons.

As the official headquarters of the Great Arab Minds initiative, the Museum of the Future serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration. Launching this program marks another step in the museum’s efforts to bring together brilliant minds under one roof to shape a shared future based on knowledge, culture, and progress.

Leading Minds, Powerful Topics

Among the speakers featured in the first phase of the forum are renowned Arab creators and thought leaders:

  • Waciny Laredj – Algerian novelist and literature professor at the University of Algiers and the Sorbonne. A recipient of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, his works have been translated into over 20 languages. His talk will focus on writing in a time of cultural and technological change, and how creative writing can help us confront the challenges of our era.

  • Dia Azzawi – Iraqi artist and pioneer of modern Arab art, known internationally for his work and honored with several prestigious awards including the Nile Award for Creativity. His session will explore the evolution of contemporary Arab art, the role of artistic identity, and the expressive power of Arabic calligraphy.

  • Sahl Al-Hiyari – Jordanian architect and urban designer, with a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. A participant in the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, he is recognized as one of the most influential Arab architects in modern design. His lecture will examine architecture as both emotion and logic, and discuss intuitive design and sustainable, culturally aware construction.

A Mission Rooted in Knowledge

Saeed Al Nazari, Secretary-General of the Great Arab Minds initiative, emphasized that the launch of this forum reflects the broader goals of the initiative — to transfer knowledge, inspire innovation, and showcase the role of Arab excellence in shaping both regional and global futures.

Echoing this vision, Majed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of the Museum of the Future, highlighted the program’s alignment with the museum’s mission to inspire new generations and stimulate intellectual exchange. “This initiative reaffirms Dubai’s role as a global platform for science, arts, and innovation,” he said, “and strengthens its contribution to empowering talent and co-creating the future of humanity.”

How to Participate

The Knowledge Forum will run as a series of full-day, intensive sessions, each hosted by a different Great Arab Mind. The program begins in October 2025, and those interested in joining can register now via the official website:
