Dubai Internet City (DIC), the region’s premier tech hub under the umbrella of TECOM Group, will participate in GITEX Global 2025 as a “Knowledge Partner,” spotlighting its innovative ecosystem and contributions to the digital economy.

Running from 13 to 17 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, GITEX will host DIC’s pavilion, where visitors can explore the city’s achievements in sectors including artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity, and cloud computing — as well as the success stories of startups nurtured by its incubator, in5.

Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President — Commercial at TECOM and Managing Director of DIC, affirmed that collaboration and unified innovation are key to shaping the future of the digital economy. For over 25 years, DIC has attracted leading global tech firms, helping them establish a presence in the region and contribute to the evolution of the digital landscape in line with Dubai’s “D33” economic agenda.

As a central driver of Dubai’s technology sector, DIC contributes around 65 % to that sector’s GDP. It hosts over 20 research, development, and innovation centers, including a dedicated innovation hub housing global names like Google and Gartner.

Additionally, DIC offers flexible workspaces such as D/Quarters, and interactive platforms like “Back Yard Talks” and “Connected Mornings” to foster young talent. It is also the home of the annual STEP technology festival.

At the GITEX pavilion, DIC will highlight success stories of homegrown enterprises such as Bume, Wytify, and Kinstex, demonstrating how its ecosystem supports growth from startup to scale-up.

Through this participation, Dubai Internet City aims to reinforce its status as a global technology hub and to forge new partnerships that will further accelerate digital transformation in Dubai, the UAE, and across the region.
