His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated GITEX Global 2025 — the world’s premier technology and AI event — held in Dubai on October 13.
Taking to his official account on platform “X” (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Mohammed shared his reflections on the event’s global significance, saying:
“While inaugurating GITEX Global today, we witnessed the gathering of 180 countries, represented by more than 6,000 institutions and companies, alongside over 1,400 speakers. It is the most important international event dedicated to technology and artificial intelligence.”
He further emphasized the deep sense of pride he feels toward the UAE’s contributions, stating:
“I am proud of the active participation and progress of our government institutions… proud of the presence and impact of our national companies… and proud of my country, which succeeded in bringing the world together and becoming part of shaping humanity’s future.”
