As Dubai lights up in celebration of the National Month — beginning with Flag Day and culminating in Union Day — Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has launched a Comprehensive Guide to National Month Events. Created in collaboration with government, semi-government, and private sector partners, the guide serves as a unified reference for all key public events across the city.
The initiative is designed to enhance public participation, foster a shared festive spirit, and showcase the UAE’s cultural identity through a wide variety of events and activities.
What’s in the Guide?
The guide features a detailed timeline and location map for events happening throughout November, covering:
-
Cultural Festivals & Community Activities: Taking place across popular locations like Al Safa Art & Design Library, Flag Garden, Nad Al Sheba Mall, Hatta Heritage Village (featuring a winter camp for kids), Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Global Village, Expo City Dubai, and Shindagha Museum.
-
Entertainment & Light Shows: Including firework displays at Burj Khalifa, musical performances by Emirati folklore groups, and 3D light shows in heritage-rich districts like Al Shindagha and Etihad Museum.
-
Family-Friendly Attractions: From interactive experiences at Mushrif Park and Children’s City to fun-packed weekends at Dubai Parks and Resorts, Palm Jumeirah Mall, and various shopping centers like Dragon Mart and Outlet Village.
-
Outdoor Public Spaces: Events will also be hosted at JBR, Bluewaters, Al Seef, and Al Khawaneej Walk, creating open-air celebrations filled with music, art, and national pride.
-
Light Art Festival: The second edition of the Dubai Light Art Festival will also return this year, adding a creative touch to the citywide festivities.
A Celebration of Unity and Culture
The goal of the guide is to bring Dubai’s residents and visitors together under one national banner — celebrating the UAE’s history, values, and vision for the future. With activities designed for all ages, it invites everyone to take part in honoring the nation’s achievements and vibrant heritage.
This unified approach not only streamlines participation but also reinforces Dubai’s role as a leading cultural and creative hub — especially during this significant month for the country.
