Dubai Live Performance

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has kicked off an exciting new initiative called “Dubai Live Performance,” designed to turn public spaces into lively, artistic hubs filled with music, movement, and creativity. It’s all about celebrating local talent and creating a fresh, cultural vibe across the city for everyone to enjoy.

Running every weekend from February 6 to March 1, the performances take place from Friday to Sunday at Bluewaters Island, one of Dubai’s most popular waterfront destinations. Shows start at 6:30 PM, making the most of the pleasant evening weather and aligning with local traditions — the perfect setup for a relaxed night out.

This kind of live street performance is already a beloved tradition in cities around the world. Now, Dubai is embracing the concept by giving musicians, performers, and artists a chance to shine in open-air spaces, connecting directly with the public in a fun and spontaneous way.

Organized in partnership with a local entertainment company, the initiative brings together a diverse mix of talented local artists — from singers and DJs to saxophonists, violinists, beatboxers, illusionists, acrobats, and small performance groups. Expect to see names like Dina Stars, Jay Abo, and Yousef Hassan adding their unique flair to the waterfront with high-energy, family-friendly performances.

At its heart, this project is about more than just entertainment — it reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to enriching its cultural landscape and offering meaningful experiences to both residents and visitors. It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and everyday magic in the heart of Dubai.

Even though all the shows are free, there’s a simple and secure way for audience members to show their appreciation. Thanks to the “Zina” platform, attendees can support their favorite performers with direct digital tips — making it easy to give back and help sustain the arts.

“Dubai Live Performance” is a fresh take on how cities can bring people together through culture, and it’s another great example of how Dubai continues to position itself as a vibrant global destination for the arts — where creativity lives not just in galleries and theaters, but out in the streets where life happens.
