As the cooler season approaches, Hatta Resorts — operated by Dubai Holding — is gearing up to reopen on September 15, offering an exciting blend of nature, relaxation, and adventure. Nestled among the majestic Hajar Mountains, Hatta is once again inviting residents and tourists alike to swap the hustle of the city for the tranquility of the great outdoors.
A Retreat That Offers More Than Just Rest
This season, visitors can look forward to a wide range of experiences tailored for families, adventure-seekers, and those simply looking to unwind. From staying in waterfront accommodations and hiking through scenic trails to exploring Hatta’s rich cultural heritage, the resort makes it easy to relax and recharge, with smooth booking processes and high-quality services.
Day Access to the Pool – No Overnight Stay Required
For those not staying overnight, Hatta now offers daily pool access — complete with sun loungers and panoramic mountain views. Guests can enjoy water activities and scenic relaxation by the Hatta Dam. The experience is further elevated with access to water slides and aquatic attractions at Hatta Wadi Hub, creating the perfect day retreat.
Luxurious Camping That Welcomes Pets
The resort’s popular caravans have been enhanced to offer a glamping experience like no other — and they’re now dog-friendly too. This means visitors can bring their pets along and enjoy the beauty of nature without compromising on comfort or convenience.
Big Events, Bigger Adventures
Hatta Wadi Hub is set to host some of the region’s most anticipated endurance races. On November 1st and 2nd, the Spartan Race and Tough Mudder will challenge both amateurs and seasoned athletes. Then, from December 5th to 7th, the Ultra Trail Dubai will take runners through Hatta’s rugged terrain with a variety of race options.
Additionally, the hub will host daily outdoor fitness sessions throughout November as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge — all set in the invigorating mountain air.
More Than Just a Weekend Escape
Whether you’re kayaking across the calm waters of the Hatta Dam, hiking mountain trails, exploring the heritage village, or stargazing from a luxury tent — Hatta delivers memorable experiences for all. Accommodation options include rustic lodges, classic trailers, domes, caravans, and mountain-side hotels — ensuring there’s something for every taste and travel style.
A Commitment to Responsible Tourism
Hatta’s tourism model is built around sustainability. The destination follows the “Leave No Trace” principle, ensuring the natural environment remains protected and pristine. It also champions local entrepreneurship, having supported more than 24 small and medium businesses within the Hatta Wadi Hub — reinforcing its commitment to community development.
A Clear Vision for a Unique Destination
Rodi Soufra, Vice President of Asset Management at Dubai Holding, commented:
“Hatta continues to strengthen its global presence by expanding its range of experiences, especially in adventure tourism, which is seeing growing demand worldwide. With more visitors coming year after year, our goal remains simple — to turn every moment spent in the mountains into a joyful, inspiring experience. From relaxing by the pool to competing in races like Spartan and Ultra Trail Dubai, and participating in the Dubai Fitness Challenge — we aim to highlight the natural beauty of Hatta while supporting the local community and preserving the region’s unique heritage.”
