With a strong focus on culture, community, and tradition, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, announced the launch of “Wulfa Season”.

The initiative, supervised by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, aims to highlight the UAE’s deep-rooted cultural heritage while promoting stronger family and social ties across Dubai.

In a post shared on social media, His Highness said that Wulfa Season brings people together, spreads warmth across Dubai’s neighborhoods, and revives the spirit of generosity, authenticity, and rich cultural identity that the emirate is known for.

The season celebrates three key cultural and religious occasions that are deeply rooted in the UAE and the wider Islamic world: Haq Al Laila, Ramadan, and Eid. Each of these holds unique customs, values, and meanings — offering opportunities for reflection, gratitude, and connection.

Wulfa Season will be held across 30 locations throughout the emirate, featuring 50 initiatives developed in collaboration with partners from both the public and private sectors. These events are designed to strengthen relationships between individuals, families, and communities, while promoting shared spiritual and cultural values.

As Dubai prepares for the holy month of Ramadan, Wulfa Season serves as a meaningful initiative that reinforces the importance of togetherness, heritage, and community spirit — all central to the Emirati way of life.
