For Nora Al Shamsi, that journey started remarkably early. \u201cI designed my first jewelry piece when I was just 11,\u201d she said with a smile. It was a pair of earrings and a hair clip, crafted from real gold and diamonds \u2014 with a little help from her father, who owned a jewelry workshop. \u201cHe always encouraged me to sketch my ideas, then helped bring them to life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many of the designers emphasized that the story behind the piece is just as important as the design itself.
