To mark the UAE\u2019s National Month, Brand Dubai \u2014 the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office \u2014 has launched the 12th edition of the iconic \u201cFlag Garden\u201d at its permanent location in Umm Suqeim 2, Dubai.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s installation is a powerful visual tribute to the UAE\u2019s founding leaders: the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may their souls rest in peace. More than 11,000 UAE flags have been meticulously arranged to form massive portraits of the two visionary figures who laid the foundation of the nation. The artistic display stretches across 60 meters in height and 90 meters in width, transforming the beachfront into a patriotic masterpiece.<\/p>\n
This initiative is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, launched by Brand Dubai under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. Now in its second year, the campaign coincides with the UAE\u2019s Flag Day on November 3 and Union Day on December 2, forming part of the broader National Month in Dubai celebrations, which run through January 10, 2026.<\/p>\n
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, described the Flag Garden as a celebration of national identity, loyalty, and unity. She emphasized that this annual event has become a symbol of pride for the people of the UAE and a visual reminder of the deep appreciation for the country\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
The initiative has grown over the years into a key cultural and tourist attraction, drawing thousands of residents, citizens, and visitors. This year\u2019s edition carries a renewed message of gratitude to the late Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, whose vision continues to guide the UAE\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n
