His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit, announced the upcoming edition of the World Governments Summit 2026, set to be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition will be organized under the theme \u201cForesight of Future Governments\u201d, further reinforcing the United Arab Emirates’ role as a global platform bringing together decision-makers and experts to shape the future of governance worldwide.<\/p>\n

During the \u201cWorld Governments Summit Dialogue\u201d held at the Museum of the Future, His Excellency affirmed that the 2026 edition will be the largest in the summit\u2019s history, with the participation of 35 heads of state and government. Among them will be the Prime Ministers of Spain, Egypt, and Jordan, alongside high-level representation from all major international organizations, such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).<\/p>\n

A Strategic Partnership to Design the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

His Excellency Al Gergawi emphasized that the summit\u2019s success is built upon an integrated triangle that brings together governments, international organizations, and the private sector.<\/p>\n

He added that the summit will host hundreds of \u201cFuture Designers\u201d representing leading global companies including Google, Ericsson, Airbus, and IBM, recognizing the vital role the private sector plays in innovating technological and knowledge-based solutions.<\/p>\n

A Packed Agenda of Knowledge and Global Dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n

The summit\u2019s agenda features an unprecedented knowledge-driven program, including 24 specialized forums that will address pressing topics such as artificial intelligence, the future of education, healthcare, mobility, and global legislation.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the summit will include 35 ministerial meetings, including the Arab Fiscal Forum and high-level discussions on the future of government work, in collaboration with countries such as South Korea and Ecuador.<\/p>\n

\u201cSummit of Scientists\u201d \u2013 A Key Addition to the 2026 Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n

His Excellency also revealed a significant new feature of the upcoming summit: the World Scientists Summit, which will take place from February 1 to 3. Organized in cooperation with the Global Association of Scientists and Experts, the event will bring together over 50 Nobel Prize laureates and distinguished scholars to present science-based recommendations that support evidence-driven government policymaking.<\/p>\n
