Dubai will host the Dubai Learning Summit 2026 on February 7 and 8, organized for the first time in the United Arab Emirates by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The international education event reflects Dubai\u2019s advanced standing as a global center for education and educational innovation, while strengthening its role as a platform for knowledge dialogue and the exchange of expertise among educational institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n
The summit will bring together a distinguished group of education leaders, academic accreditation experts, policymakers, and educators from various countries to discuss future directions in education, enhance learning quality in international schools, and exchange best practices based on research and evidence. These discussions aim to support school development and improve the efficiency of educational outcomes.<\/p>\n
The event will be held at Dubai Schools \u2013 Al Barsha, with the participation of around 400 educators and delegations from more than 15 countries, providing an interactive learning environment that includes panel sessions and specialized workshops. The summit is designed to connect theoretical discussions with practical applications within educational institutions.<\/p>\n
The Dubai Learning Summit 2026 aligns with the objectives of the Dubai Education Strategy 2033, which focuses on providing high-quality education for all learners and ensuring inclusive, flexible learning environments that respond to future needs. It also supports KHDA initiatives, most notably \u201cExcellence Wherever You Are\u201d and \u201cRise for the Teacher,\u201d which aim to empower school leaders and teachers while promoting continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Her Excellency Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, stated that hosting the summit reflects Dubai\u2019s commitment to building a learner-centered education system and strengthening international partnerships. Meanwhile, Cam Staples, President of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, noted that the UAE is among the association\u2019s largest membership regions, with approximately 70 accredited schools.<\/p>\n
