This growth is not only quantitative but also qualitative, enhancing the city\u2019s capacity to offer advanced, high-quality medical services.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1711\">In parallel, new investment momentum accelerated, with a 26% year-on-year increase in new projects, strengthening Dubai Healthcare City\u2019s role as a key contributor to the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to establish Dubai as a global hub for innovation and future-ready industries \u2014 including healthcare.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1957\">This announcement coincided with Dubai Healthcare City\u2019s participation in Arab Health 2026, where it showcased the maturity and integration of its healthcare ecosystem amid rising global interest in holistic, destination-based medical care.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2028\"><strong>Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, commented:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2414\">\u201cThe level of expansion we are witnessing is a clear signal of partner confidence in the foundations of DHCC. When a third of your partners expand their operations, it speaks to sustained demand and long-term commitment. This momentum is now translating into real progress across both Phase 1 and Phase 2, setting the stage for a new era of investment-led, innovation-driven growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2416\" data-end=\"2455\"><strong>Major Development Projects Underway<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2457\" data-end=\"2640\">As part of a recently launched AED 1.3 billion development plan, Dubai Healthcare City is advancing its first-phase infrastructure with the launch of two integrated complexes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2642\" data-end=\"2985\">\n<li data-start=\"2642\" data-end=\"2807\">\n<p data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2807\">The first complex, spanning 21,110 square meters, will provide fully integrated residential facilities tailored for healthcare professionals and residents.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2808\" data-end=\"2985\">\n<p data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2985\">The second complex, covering 15,150 square meters, will serve as a hub for healthcare and commercial activity, and includes several newly announced strategic projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2987\" data-end=\"3016\"><strong>Rapid Progress in Phase 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3018\" data-end=\"3475\">Meanwhile, Phase 2 of Dubai Healthcare City\u2019s expansion is gaining strong momentum. To date, 58% of the masterplan\u2019s projects have been confirmed, representing investments worth approximately AED 5.4 billion. As of January 2026, 80% of Phase 2\u2019s infrastructure work has been completed, reflecting a fast-paced execution and robust demand for comprehensive developments that blend healthcare, residential, education, and mixed-use facilities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3477\" data-end=\"3523\"><strong>A Promising Future for Healthcare in Dubai<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3525\" data-end=\"3910\">These achievements position Dubai Healthcare City as more than just a medical zone \u2014 it is a fully integrated urban ecosystem driving the future of healthcare in the region.
