The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is showcasing the emirate\u2019s advanced industrial ecosystem during its participation in the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates 2026, which is being held at ADNEC Abu Dhabi and will continue until May 7.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dubai\u2019s participation comes through the Dubai Pavilion, which highlights the emirate\u2019s readiness to meet the requirements of future industries and its growing role as an integrated industrial hub.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation also reflects Dubai\u2019s ongoing efforts to strengthen the resilience of its economy, ensure business continuity, and consolidate its position as a global industrial center with an advanced infrastructure, operational stability, and the ability to keep pace with changing market needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dubai enters the event backed by strong economic performance. The emirate\u2019s gross domestic product recorded growth of 6.4% in the fourth quarter of 2025, reaching AED 937 billion for the full year, a result that reflects continued economic momentum and the diversity of the sectors driving growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation is also aligned with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which places strong focus on the industrial sector. The agenda aims to more than double the sector\u2019s added value by 2033 and further strengthen Dubai\u2019s position as a leading destination for industrial investment regionally and globally.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the exhibition, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is highlighting the key factors that have made the emirate an integrated hub for advanced industries. These include modern infrastructure, a connected logistics network, and easy access to international markets, giving manufacturers wider opportunities to expand and export.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitors to the Dubai Pavilion are being introduced to the advantages offered by the emirate to manufacturers and investors, including connectivity to more than 130 export destinations, access to Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements, and advanced customs procedures that help facilitate trade movement and speed up business processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pavilion brings together several key entities within Dubai\u2019s economic and industrial ecosystem, including Dubai Industrial City, National Industries Park, Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, Dubai Chambers, Dubai Future Foundation, and Food Tech Valley, along with a number of strategic partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency Hadi Badri, CEO of Dubai Economic Development Corporation, the economic development arm of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, said that the wise leadership is committed to adopting clear policies and decisive measures to ensure growth and stability. He noted that Dubai\u2019s industrial sector reflects this approach through its diversity, technological progress, and strong integration with global supply chains.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that Dubai continues, within the framework of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, to enhance the value it offers to manufacturers by supporting new investments and expansion projects in existing factories. This is being achieved through targeted incentive programs that help reduce costs, improve competitiveness, and drive industrial growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Badri also stated that Dubai\u2019s participation in Make it in the Emirates 2026 represents an important opportunity to turn this vision into practical partnerships and deals that support local manufacturing, strengthen economic momentum, and reinforce Dubai\u2019s position as a global center for export-led growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dubai Pavilion serves as a platform for direct engagement with investors, manufacturers, and various stakeholders.<\/span> It presents a comprehensive view of the emirate\u2019s competitive advantages, while also opening opportunities for cooperation in industrial development, investment facilitation, and market access from Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of its participation, the department is presenting several initiatives aimed at supporting industrial expansion and boosting exports. These include the Export Support Programme, which helps manufacturers in Dubai access global markets, and the Elite Buyer Programme, which supports the emirate\u2019s position as a global sourcing hub.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other initiatives on display include programs that enable the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, the National In-Country Value Programme, and energy-related policies supporting the industrial sector. Together, these efforts reflect Dubai\u2019s commitment to developing a modern industrial ecosystem and building sustainable local capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through this platform, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism seeks to strengthen national cooperation and work closely with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and other partners, ensuring that efforts remain aligned with the UAE\u2019s national industrial strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition is also expected to witness the announcement of new strategic partnerships with leading entities in the logistics and banking sectors.
