The Dubai Snow Run achieved strong success in its seventh edition, attracting more than 1,000 male and female runners from 79 nationalities representing different continents. Among the participants were 327 Emirati athletes from various age groups, including both men and women.<\/p>\n
The race was held at Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates and was organized by Dubai Sports Council in cooperation with Ski Dubai. The event continued to stand out as one of Dubai\u2019s distinctive sporting activities, offering participants the chance to experience running in a unique snowy environment.<\/p>\n
Following the conclusion of the races, the winners were crowned in the presence of Rashid Mohammed Abdullah, Head of Events Planning and Execution at Dubai Sports Council, and Mohammed Al Attar, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment in the UAE and Oman, who presented the trophies to the top finishers.<\/p>\n
Results of the 5km Race<\/strong><\/p>\n In the women\u2019s 5km race, Pia Hansky claimed first place after completing the course in 24 minutes and 41 seconds. Paula Garcia finished second with a time of 27 minutes and 44 seconds, while Gabriella Fato came third in 27 minutes and 48 seconds.<\/p>\n In the men\u2019s category for the same distance, Igor Mishutin took first place with a time of 20 minutes and 32 seconds. He was followed by Yun Moreno, who finished second in 20 minutes and 46 seconds, while Vegard Hansky secured third place with a time of 21 minutes and 40 seconds.<\/p>\n Results of the 3km Race<\/strong><\/p>\n In the women\u2019s 3km race, Sophie Geddes won first place after finishing in 18 minutes and 25 seconds. Lisette Borgueira came second with a time of 20 minutes and 21 seconds, followed by Olga Belokrylova in third place with 20 minutes and 22 seconds.<\/p>\n In the men\u2019s category, Mohammed Al Hassani won the race after completing the distance in 13 minutes and 38 seconds. Yesson Londono Franco finished second in 15 minutes and 25 seconds, while Omar Al Muhairi came third with a time of 16 minutes and 3 seconds.<\/p>\n At the team level, Dubai Police topped the standings with an average time of 16 minutes and 37 seconds.
