Kaspersky has opened its new Cybersecurity Center at KidZania Dubai in The Dubai Mall, giving children a fun and practical way to learn about digital safety from an early age.<\/p>\n

The center has been designed as an interactive experience where children can step into the role of cybersecurity investigators. Through this role-play, they learn how to recognize digital threats, understand how to respond to them, and build simple but important habits for using technology and the internet safely.<\/p>\n

The launch comes at a time when children are spending more time in the digital world, whether through smart devices, online learning, games, or entertainment platforms. As a result, cybersecurity awareness has become an important part of everyday family life. Technology is also increasingly influencing children\u2019s interests and the careers they may consider in the future.<\/p>\n

According to a survey by Kaspersky, 89% of parents in the United Arab Emirates expect their children to work in information technology in the future, making it one of the most popular career paths parents would like their children to pursue.<\/p>\n

Andrey Sidenko, Head of Cyber Literacy Projects at Kaspersky, said education is essential in helping children understand the digital world and interact with it safely. He explained that today\u2019s children are growing up in a technology-driven environment, and many of their online experiences begin at a very young age. This makes it important to give them the knowledge and skills they need to move through the digital world with confidence.<\/p>\n

He added that building cybersecurity awareness early can help children identify risks, protect themselves, and develop responsible digital behavior from a young age.<\/p>\n

The Kaspersky Cybersecurity Center offers hands-on activities, realistic simulations, and engaging digital tasks that introduce children to common cyber risks. The experience also teaches them the basics of safe browsing and helps them understand some of the challenges they may face while using the internet in daily life.<\/p>\n

During the experience, children take part in digital missions where they analyze clues, identify threats, and solve virtual security cases. These activities are designed to encourage critical thinking, improve digital awareness, and promote responsible use of technology.<\/p>\n

Rashed Al Momani, General Manager of Kaspersky in the Middle East, said the partnership with KidZania allows cybersecurity education to reach families in a more practical and relatable way. He noted that the initiative aims to help children and parents build healthier digital habits and feel more confident when using the opportunities offered by the digital world.<\/p>\n

The Dubai opening is part of a wider global collaboration between Kaspersky and KidZania. The partnership began with the launch of the Cyber Investigation Center at KidZania Santa Fe in Mexico City in March 2025, before expanding to India in April 2026 and now to Dubai.<\/p>\n

The Kaspersky Cybersecurity Center at KidZania Dubai is expected to welcome thousands of children every year.
