The medal is considered one of the highest honors in the Government of Dubai and aims to promote a culture of preparing government leaders and empowering second-line leaders, in support of sustaining excellence and leadership in government work across the emirate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"750\">The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. During the meeting, the committee discussed the implementation phases of the medal and the approved evaluation mechanisms for selecting the winner.<\/p>\n<p data-section-id=\"12z88mq\" data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"810\"><strong>More Than 30 Participating Government Entities Approved<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"1162\">During the meeting, the committee approved the final list of government entities participating in the medal\u2019s first cycle, which includes more than 30 government entities in Dubai. This step reflects the strong engagement with the initiative\u2019s objectives and its importance in preparing leaders and developing competencies within government entities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1436\">The committee also approved an integrated, multi-stage evaluation methodology based on clear indicators and specialized evaluation interviews, with a focus on measuring the sustainable leadership impact in preparing competencies and empowering leaders within institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-section-id=\"1d16m2v\" data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1494\"><strong>Clear Standards to Ensure Transparency and Neutrality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1799\">The committee also approved the regulations, procedures, terms and conditions governing the medal, ensuring the application of the highest levels of transparency, neutrality and governance throughout the various evaluation stages, while unifying the selection criteria across all participating entities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"2125\">After the evaluation stages are completed, the results will be submitted to the Supervisory Committee of the Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Leadership, along with a comprehensive report that includes the results, analysis and recommendations, in preparation for selecting one government leader each year to receive the medal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2127\" data-end=\"2298\">The winner is scheduled to be honored during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development in September.<\/p>\n<p data-section-id=\"xys2rv\" data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2372\"><strong>Al Gergawi: The Medal Reflects Dubai\u2019s Approach to Developing Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2374\" data-end=\"2990\">His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi affirmed that the Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Leadership, launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, embodies the approach of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, in building a sustainable leadership system based on empowering leaders and refining their skills to enhance their readiness to lead the future.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2992\" data-end=\"3397\">His Excellency said: \u201cThe medal celebrates the leader whose impact is not limited to achieving results and accomplishments, but extends to building new leaders capable of continuing the journey of development and shaping the future, ensuring the continuity of government excellence in the Emirate of Dubai and strengthening institutional resilience to keep pace with changes and anticipate opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3399\" data-end=\"4148\">His Excellency also highlighted the committee\u2019s commitment to implementing all evaluation stages according to the highest standards of efficiency, transparency and objectivity. This ensures the identification and assessment of the most distinguished leadership models in preparing competencies and empowering leaders, while measuring their sustainable institutional impact. He affirmed that the Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Leadership serves as a strategic platform to enhance positive competitiveness among government entities in discovering and empowering national talents, contributing to the development of a more future-ready government system and reinforcing the sustainability of achievement and Dubai\u2019s leadership across various fields.<\/p>\n<p data-section-id=\"10y7i20\" data-start=\"4150\" data-end=\"4227\"><strong>Supporting Second-Line Leaders and Strengthening Institutional Empowerment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4229\" data-end=\"4612\">The Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Leadership is awarded annually to the Director General in the Government of Dubai who contributes most effectively to developing, training and highlighting second-line leaders.
