Dubai International Airport is preparing for one of its busiest periods of the summer travel season, with about 3 million passengers expected to pass through its terminals during the first 15 days of July.<\/p>\n
Passenger traffic is expected to begin rising sharply on July 2, as many residents head abroad for their summer vacations, along with the continued flow of connecting passengers traveling through the airport.<\/p>\n
July 12 is expected to be the busiest day during this period, with the airport projected to handle more than 225,000 passengers in a single day. Daily traffic is also expected to top 200,000 passengers on several days throughout the two-week peak travel window.<\/p>\n
Connecting passengers are expected to account for about half of Dubai International Airport\u2019s total passenger traffic, highlighting Dubai\u2019s position as a major global aviation hub and a key link between continents and destinations.<\/p>\n
As part of its preparations for the busy summer season, Dubai Airports is working to make the travel experience feel more personal and engaging, going beyond operational readiness to add an interactive and human touch to the passenger journey.<\/p>\n
Passengers departing from or connecting through Concourse B in Terminal 3, near Gates B28, can take part in the \u201cDubai in the Heart\u201d interactive experience. The initiative allows travelers to become part of a collective artwork that reflects Dubai\u2019s diversity and global presence.<\/p>\n
The experience invites passengers to upload a selfie, which is then added to a growing digital mosaic in the colors of the UAE flag. With each new contribution, the artwork expands, bringing individual travel moments together in one image that reflects Dubai\u2019s inclusive spirit.<\/p>\n
The experience also includes a dedicated space for handwritten messages, where passengers can share words of pride, gratitude or connection to Dubai, giving the initiative a more personal dimension.<\/p>\n
