Mleiha National Park has announced its selection as a finalist for the title of Middle East\u2019s Leading National Park 2026 at the 33rd edition of the World Travel Awards, placing it among a select group of the region\u2019s most prominent protected national parks.<\/p>\n
The park is located within the core zone of the Faya Palaeolandscape, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is competing for the award alongside four other national parks from across the Middle East.<\/p>\n
Reaching the final stage reflects Mleiha National Park\u2019s efforts to protect the UAE\u2019s archaeological heritage while offering a range of experiences in ecotourism, education, and desert adventure.<\/p>\n
The nomination also highlights the park\u2019s position as a destination that brings together heritage, nature, learning, and sustainable tourism within one of the most important archaeological areas in the Arabian Peninsula.<\/p>\n
