According to information published on the official Nafis website, the initiative requires the beneficiary to be a non-Emirati woman married to an Emirati citizen. Her total monthly salary must be at least AED 6,000 and must not exceed AED 15,000.<\/p>\n
Applicants must also hold at least a bachelor\u2019s degree, with the qualification accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n
Another eligibility requirement is that the beneficiary must have at least two children with her Emirati husband, or the marriage must have lasted for at least five years.<\/p>\n
The main eligibility requirements therefore focus on the applicant\u2019s marital status, monthly salary range, academic qualification, and either the number of children or the length of the marriage, according to the approved criteria.<\/p>\n
Nafis has also identified several cases in which applicants may be exempt from the requirements related to the number of children and the length of marriage. In such cases, however, the marriage must have lasted for at least two years, provided the applicant meets the specific exemption criteria.<\/p>\n
These exceptions include medical professionals holding medical degrees, educational professionals working as teachers, and women with doctoral degrees, provided their qualifications are accredited by the relevant authorities in the UAE.<\/p>\n
The exemptions also cover women working in occupations classified as vital to the labor market, allowing the initiative to reach qualified professionals working in specializations that are considered important and in demand.<\/p>\n
This aspect of the initiative provides greater flexibility for women working in specialized fields and supports efforts to attract and retain qualified professionals in key sectors.<\/p>\n
Nafis explained that applications for the initiative will be completed electronically through the Nafis platform. Applicants must sign in using UAE Pass and submit their application after confirming that they meet the eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n
As part of the application process, the applicant must enter her husband\u2019s Emirates ID number. Once eligibility has been verified, she can complete the registration process and upload the required documents through the platform.<\/p>\n
The platform also allows beneficiaries to track the status of their applications through their personal accounts, providing a clear and direct digital process for completing the required steps and following the application\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n
