The community humanitarian initiative is being held in honor of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may he rest in peace, who passed away last Monday.<\/p>\n<p data-d-component=\"text\">The community event, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is a humanitarian initiative that commemorates the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his legacy of generosity. It also reflects the deeply rooted values of giving within UAE society through a large-scale community effort that brings together members of the public, volunteers, and admirers of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid, may he rest in peace, to prepare food assistance for the most vulnerable families and children in Gaza.<\/p>\n<h2 data-d-component=\"title\" data-d-size=\"lg\" data-d-weight=\"semibold\">Mohammed Al Gergawi: A Humanitarian Initiative Reflecting the UAE&#8217;s Values<\/h2>\n<p data-d-component=\"text\">His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, said: &#8220;The name of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may he rest in peace, has always been associated with humility, compassion, and generosity. Today, thousands of those who loved him are expressing their gratitude through this major humanitarian initiative.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-d-component=\"text\">He added: &#8220;This humanitarian event, held in memory of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid, may he rest in peace, reflects the spirit of UAE society, its values, and its love and loyalty toward its leaders.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-d-component=\"text\">Al Gergawi continued: &#8220;There is great appreciation for the positions taken by the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid and his national and community contributions throughout our country&#8217;s journey.
