The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, part of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced the launch of the 2026\u20132027 cohort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program. The new cohort brings together a distinguished group of Emirati leaders and professionals selected from approximately 3,000 applicants, representing 20 vital sectors across government entities, the private sector, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
The new cohort builds on the program’s ongoing efforts to develop Emirati leadership talent and strengthen its capabilities. Guided by the leadership philosophy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, the program focuses on preparing national talent with the knowledge and skills needed to lead strategic and transformational projects, adapt effectively to changing work environments, and keep pace with rapid global developments across key sectors.<\/p>\n
His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, emphasized that developing national leaders is a fundamental pillar of the approach established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This approach is based on continuous investment in Emirati talent and empowering national professionals to contribute to the country’s development and future.<\/p>\n
His Excellency said: “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has established an advanced approach to developing national leaders, based on building successive generations of talented individuals and preparing them to lead future strategic projects and contribute effectively to the development journey. Since its establishment in 2003, the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program has been an extension of this approach through its advanced framework, which equips national talent with the tools and expertise needed to meet future requirements, strengthens their ability to anticipate change, and enables them to turn challenges into opportunities.”<\/p>\n
His Excellency added: “The program provides participants with a rich leadership experience that combines specialized knowledge, practical application, direct guidance, and engagement with local and international leaders and experts, enhancing their skills in thinking, analysis, team leadership, and strategic project management.”<\/p>\n
His Excellency also encouraged members of the new cohort to make full use of the learning and practical opportunities offered by the program, remain open to different experiences and perspectives, and apply the knowledge and skills they gain to develop new ways of working. He urged participants to introduce innovative initiatives that improve institutional efficiency and deliver positive, sustainable results for their organizations and communities.<\/p>\n
The 2026\u20132027 Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program is built around seven specialized leadership tracks designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience that combines practical training with advanced leadership knowledge and international best practices.<\/p>\n
The tracks cover several areas essential to developing future leaders, including innovation, governance, influence, high performance, and executive presence. They also focus on strengthening the capabilities needed to address challenges and manage transformation across different sectors.<\/p>\n
By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning, the program allows participants to sharpen their strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and team leadership skills. It also helps them strengthen their decision-making capabilities and manage projects that require clear direction and innovative approaches.<\/p>\n
