Dubai Municipality has opened its first Work From Park destination at Al Barsha Pond Park, introducing a new way for residents and visitors to work within the city’s public green spaces. The initiative brings flexible workspaces into a park setting, combining professional facilities with outdoor surroundings and community amenities.<\/p>\n
Developed in partnership with Group AMANA and Letswork, the destination gives people a place to complete their daily tasks, hold meetings, and connect with others while enjoying the park’s natural environment and recreational facilities.<\/p>\n
The opening marks another step in Dubai Municipality’s efforts to develop public parks into multifunctional community destinations that reflect changing lifestyles and working habits. It also expands the range of activities available at Al Barsha Pond Park, adding professional and social experiences alongside recreation and physical activity.<\/p>\n
The project offers residents and visitors more ways to use public parks as part of their daily routines, supporting Dubai’s wider efforts to improve the quality of life through accessible and diverse community spaces.<\/p>\n
The Work From Park destination offers different working environments to accommodate a range of professional needs. Dedicated outdoor workspaces are accessible to all park visitors, while air-conditioned indoor facilities provide individual desks, private offices, and meeting rooms.<\/p>\n
The destination also includes areas for hosting events, professional networking activities, and wellness programs, allowing visitors to use the facilities for different purposes throughout the day.<\/p>\n
These options give individuals and teams the flexibility to choose a workspace suited to their requirements, whether they need somewhere to complete daily assignments, meet colleagues, or use a private office for a longer period.<\/p>\n
Located within Al Barsha Pond Park, the destination brings together the practical features of flexible working facilities and the park’s natural surroundings. Visitors can make use of professional workspaces while also having access to the recreational amenities and outdoor areas available at the park.<\/p>\n
The concept adds another dimension to the park experience, allowing work, community activities, and recreation to take place within the same destination.<\/p>\n
The initiative forms part of Dubai Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and variety of experiences available in public parks, in line with the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy.<\/p>\n
By introducing flexible working facilities into an existing community park, the municipality is expanding the ways residents can benefit from public spaces. The concept also provides individuals and businesses with access to professional working environments closer to residential neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
At the same time, it encourages more people to make use of the park and its surrounding facilities, bringing together different aspects of daily life within a shared community setting.<\/p>\n
The destination also highlights the role of public-private partnerships in introducing new services into existing public facilities, helping these spaces respond to changing patterns of work, recreation, and social interaction.<\/p>\n

He added: “Through this initiative, we provide opportunities for Dubai’s community to work and connect close to their homes, while at the same time benefiting from the natural environment and recreational facilities offered by Al Barsha Pond Park. The initiative also confirms how cooperation with the private sector can enhance the value of public destinations by providing innovative services that respond to community needs. Our efforts continue to develop sustainable, multifunctional public spaces that are accessible to everyone, enrich daily experiences, and contribute to strengthening Dubai’s position as a city with a higher quality of life.”<\/p>\n
The Work From Park destination was developed using advanced modular construction techniques in partnership with Group AMANA, through its DuBox and DuPod companies.<\/p>\n
A significant portion of the construction work was carried out off-site in a specialized factory environment, where modular units were assembled and prepared before being brought to the park.<\/p>\n
The off-site manufacturing process took place alongside preparatory work at Al Barsha Pond Park, allowing different stages of construction to progress simultaneously.<\/p>\n
This approach helped improve construction efficiency and quality control while reducing the amount of work required within the park itself.<\/p>\n
It also limited disruption to visitors and allowed the park to maintain its regular operations throughout the development process.<\/p>\n
The project demonstrates how modular construction can support the addition of new facilities to existing urban environments, particularly in public locations where maintaining visitor access and minimizing construction-related disruption are important considerations.<\/p>\n

Work From Park provides a variety of workspace options for individuals, professionals, and teams looking for flexible facilities for work or meetings.<\/p>\n
Outdoor working areas are available to all visitors at Al Barsha Pond Park, while those who prefer air-conditioned indoor facilities can book individual workspaces and meeting rooms for daily use through the Letswork app or website.<\/p>\n
The destination also offers dedicated desks and private offices for longer-term use, subject to availability. These options allow users to select facilities that match their working requirements, whether they need a temporary workspace or a more permanent professional setting.<\/p>\n
Letswork is responsible for operating and managing the flexible workspace experience, using its digital platform to handle bookings and provide access to the available facilities.<\/p>\n
Visitors can also find information about workspace packages, prices, and included services through the Letswork platform before choosing the option that best suits their needs.<\/p>\n
