The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai has announced that the Eid Al Adha holiday for private schools in the emirate will begin on Monday, May 25, and continue until Sunday, May 31.
Students, teachers, and administrative staff are scheduled to return to school on Monday, June 1, in line with the approved unified academic calendar.
The authority explained that the holiday applies to all private schools in Dubai and falls within the official break dates already set in the academic calendar. This helps ensure that private schools across the emirate, despite following different curricula, observe the holiday during the same period.
The announcement was made through an awareness post shared on the authority’s official accounts, highlighting the importance of keeping students, parents, and school teams informed of holiday dates in advance. This allows families and schools to plan their schedules more clearly during the break.
On this occasion, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority extended its greetings to students, parents, teachers, and administrative teams, wishing everyone a happy holiday and pleasant time with family and friends. The authority also expressed its hope that Eid Al Adha brings goodness and blessings to all.
The announcement of the Eid Al Adha holiday dates for Dubai private schools reflects the continued efforts of education authorities to organize the academic calendar and give families and schools enough time to prepare for the break, especially as the academic year approaches its final stages and schools continue completing lessons and final assessments.
