The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the General Department of Community Happiness, distributed Flame Tree seedlings to employees in cooperation with Dubai Municipality, as part of its efforts to support sustainable environmental initiatives and raise awareness about the importance of tree planting and preserving the environment.
Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, said the initiative reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to supporting national visions aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and reinforcing the concept of social responsibility among employees and members of the community.
He noted that such initiatives help encourage employees to adopt positive environmental practices, while supporting efforts to expand green spaces and spread a culture of caring for plants, in line with the UAE’s direction toward protecting the environment and improving quality of life.
For his part, Captain Saeed Al Ketbi, Director of the Community Relations Department at the General Department of Community Happiness, said the distribution of Flame Tree seedlings embodies the department’s commitment to strengthening active community partnerships with various government entities, especially Dubai Municipality, in a way that supports the country’s goals in sustainability and environmental action.
This initiative comes as part of a series of efforts carried out by Dubai Police to enhance its community role, support programs that promote environmental awareness among employees and the wider community, and reinforce behaviors that contribute to preserving natural resources and the surrounding environment.
