Mansour bin Zayed: Artificial Intelligence Is a Pillar for Global Achievements Led by the UAE

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development, which was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the council reviewed the readiness of ministries and federal entities to adopt Agentic AI systems and models, in a way that supports the development of government work mechanisms and enhances performance efficiency across various sectors.

The meeting discussed the action plan for implementing the Agentic AI project in the federal government, along with reviewing a number of existing government models in this field and the opportunities they provide to accelerate achievement and improve the quality of services.

The council also reviewed a set of government policies and proposals aimed at expanding the use of artificial intelligence solutions and developing the skills of federal government employees in line with best practices and specialized standards, keeping pace with the requirements of the next phase.

In a post on the platform “X”, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that artificial intelligence is no longer merely a tool for the future, but has become a pillar for creating global achievements led by the UAE with confidence and ambition. His Highness added that what the country is achieving today in this sector reflects the vision of a nation that is not content with keeping pace with global transformation, but contributes to leading and shaping it.

The Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development also discussed proposed federal legislation in a number of vital sectors, including healthcare, the economy, the banking sector and the tax system, as part of efforts to support a legislative environment that keeps pace with rapid developments in advanced technologies.

The council further reviewed the recommendations of the Federal National Council regarding the government policy on the quality of life of teaching staff and its impact on the outcomes of the educational process, in addition to requesting the discussion of a number of government policies and programs across different sectors.

The meeting reflects the UAE’s commitment to treating artificial intelligence as one of the main pillars for developing government work, enhancing the readiness of federal institutions and strengthening the country’s position in the path of global digital transformation with confidence and a clear vision.
