Official Holiday for Federal Government Entities and the Private Sector on the Occasion of the Hijri New Year
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that Monday, June 15, 2026, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1448.
The holiday applies to federal government entities and the private sector, giving employees in both sectors a day off to mark the beginning of the new Hijri year.
