Art Dubai, the Middle East’s leading international art fair, is set to return next week at Madinat Jumeirah with a sweeping celebration of creativity, culture, and innovation. This year’s edition brings together over 500 artists from more than 65 cities across 40 countries, solidifying its place as the largest and most influential annual art event in the region.

The 2025 edition features 120 curated exhibitions spanning contemporary, modern, and digital art, alongside a dynamic schedule of talks, performances, and site-specific installations. As always, Art Dubai serves not only as a marketplace for art but also as a platform for discovery, cultural exchange, and dialogue.

The fair is divided into four distinct sections: Art Dubai Contemporary, Art Dubai Modern, Art Dubai Digital, and Bawwaba (Arabic for “gateway”). Each segment showcases a unique perspective—from established masters to emerging digital voices, with Bawwaba focusing on recent works created in the last year. This year, over 30 exhibitors will participate for the first time, including renowned international galleries like Cristina Guerra, Bortolami, Richard Saltoun, and RGR.

One of the highlights of Art Dubai 2025 is a series of groundbreaking digital installations. Visitors can expect an immersive AI-powered artwork by OUCHHH Studio, a kinetic interactive sculpture from BREAKFAST, and Dreamscope, a tech-driven installation by Hybrid Experience. Other standout commissions include pieces by Emirati artists Al Yammama Rashid and Mohammed Kazem, as well as Swedish artist Jacob Dahlgren.

For the first time in the region, visitors will also get a chance to see the legendary BMW Art Car designed by Andy Warhol. Adding to the excitement, Art Dubai will host a new curated exhibition titled Common Ground, showcasing art collections rooted in Dubai’s cultural identity. The event will also wrap up with a lively after-hours celebration featuring global beats from DJs Habibi Funk and Malika.

Art Dubai Contemporary remains the largest segment of the fair, with 72 galleries from around the world. The Bawwaba section presents 10 solo exhibitions, each exploring themes of migration, displacement, and reimagined ways of living. Art Dubai Modern will exhibit works from West Asia, North Africa, and—for the first time—Latin America, highlighting influential modern artists from across these regions.

Meanwhile, Art Dubai Digital continues to push boundaries as the only major international fair with a dedicated digital section. Featuring 22 digital platforms, this part of the fair showcases cutting-edge work incorporating AI, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).

Art Dubai 2025 is not just an art fair—it’s a cultural happening, a global meeting point for artists, collectors, curators, and the art-loving public. With its innovative programming and global reach, this year’s edition promises to offer a rich, multi-layered experience that reflects the future of art in all its forms.
