Dubai Design Week 2025 officially opened with an inauguration by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. Now in its 11th edition, the event stands as the leading design platform in the Middle East, celebrating global creativity, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
The opening ceremony took place at Dubai Design District (d3), welcoming over 1,000 designers, architects, and creatives from more than 50 countries. Organized in strategic partnership with d3 under TECOM Group, and supported by Dubai Culture, the event reflects Dubai’s growing role as a global hub for creativity and design excellence.

Running through November 9, Dubai Design Week 2025 offers a packed schedule of design showcases and cultural activations. One of its key highlights is Downtown Design, the region’s premier fair for contemporary and high-end design, featuring the latest collections, cutting-edge products, and innovative design solutions from local and international studios. The week also includes an engaging program of talks, panels, and networking sessions led by industry experts.
Celebrating Community, Craftsmanship, and Connection
A standout feature of the week is the Dubai Design Week Market—a vibrant community space that highlights the work of local designers, artisans, and small businesses. Visitors can explore and purchase a curated selection of handmade jewelry, fashion, homeware, and lifestyle products—all with a focus on sustainability and creative craftsmanship.
This year’s edition also offers an expanded lifestyle experience, blending design with food, live music, and family-friendly activities. The result is a dynamic, inclusive environment where creativity thrives and community engagement flourishes.
Once again, Dubai Design Week demonstrates the city’s unwavering support for the creative industries, offering a global stage for innovation and underscoring the vital role of design in building a better-connected, forward-thinking world.
