Dubai Police Carnival Begins Tomorrow at City Walk with Innovative Services and Family Entertainment

Dubai Police is set to kick off its highly anticipated Carnival Exhibition tomorrow, January 9, at City Walk, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival. The event will run for three days, offering a rich blend of entertainment, innovation, and public services tailored to all segments of society.

Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, confirmed that Dubai Police is keen on launching integrated community exhibitions and initiatives that strengthen constructive communication between the police force and the public. This aligns with the strategic vision of Dubai Police to enhance safety and security while achieving high levels of happiness across the community.

He added: “Direct interaction with the public through creative platforms and engaging events like the Dubai Police Carnival not only helps build trust but also creates new opportunities for raising awareness about essential police and traffic services. It highlights the efforts of Dubai Police in ensuring public happiness, security, and stability.”

A Closer Look at the Carnival’s Offerings

The carnival will present a wide selection of police, traffic, and community services. Among the key highlights:

  • The Dubai Police Smart App

  • The Volunteer Platform, allowing visitors to register for volunteer opportunities

  • The Home Security Service

  • Awareness about the rights of women and children

  • The e-Crime Hub, which educates the public on cybercrime prevention

  • The ‘Eye of the Police’ service to report violations and misconduct

  • Services for reporting lost and found items, checking travel bans, and more

  • The ‘Aman Roads’ platform, which promotes road safety

  • Exhibits from the Dubai Police Museum, showcasing the force’s history and technological evolution over the years

Live Shows and Interactive Experiences

The event will also include a wide range of engaging shows and activities suitable for the whole family:

  • Motorcycle and bicycle stunt performances

  • A musical show by the Dubai Police Academy Band

  • Police K9 dog shows

  • A showcase of luxury tourist patrol vehicles

  • Virtual simulation inside the high-tech Ghiath patrol car

  • A display of the classic Land Rover police vehicle and the traditional Ramadan Cannon

  • Special exhibits from the UAE SWAT Challenge, including armored vehicles and tactical gear

In addition, families will enjoy creative and entertaining workshops at the “Makers Studio”, while children can participate in digital games, sports challenges, puzzles, and competitions at the Khalid Magazine booth, operated by the Security Media Department. Gifts and fun surprises await the younger visitors.
