Abdullah bin Zayed: The UAE Supports Global Partnerships to Achieve Sustainable Development
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed that the launch of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development’s “Abu Dhabi Global Water Platform” reflects the UAE’s approach to supporting global partnerships aimed at achieving sustainable development for the peoples of the world.
His Highness said via the platform “X”: “The platform’s pursuit of mobilizing $2 billion in financing for high-impact projects — with the Fund allocating $1 billion during 2026–2030 to serve around 10 million beneficiaries globally — embodies a firm national commitment to accelerating global action to enhance water and food security in developing countries.”
