We Love Dubai

Kite Beach Dubai, one of the city’s favorite lifestyle spots, has launched a new initiative called “We Love Dubai,” inviting residents to share their connection to the emirate in a way that feels simple but genuinely meaningful. The initiative runs until April 12 and is built around a shared appreciation for a city many proudly call home.

At the center of it all is a large, interactive digital mosaic shaped like a heart. It’s made up of thousands of individual photos submitted by residents, coming together as one collective artwork that reflects the spirit of Dubai’s diverse community. Created by members of Dubai’s creative scene, the piece feels like a visual expression of unity and belonging.

Taking part is quick and easy. Visitors just scan a QR code on-site, snap a selfie, and see their photo added to the growing mosaic displayed along the beach. Each new image adds to a bigger story—one that represents the people who live in, move through, and shape the city every day.

Kite Beach feels like a natural home for something like this. Known for its lively atmosphere, it’s where people come to stay active, meet friends, or simply unwind by the sea. With its mix of sports, food, and laid-back energy, it already reflects the rhythm of everyday life in Dubai.

The “We Love Dubai” initiative also brings the city’s diversity into focus. Faces from different cultures and backgrounds come together in a single piece, highlighting a shared sense of community despite different journeys and experiences.

Participants can download their photos once they’ve been added and share them online, carrying the message beyond the beach. They’ll also receive a custom sticker to help spread the spirit of the initiative across the city.

At its core, the idea is simple: celebrating the special place Dubai holds in people’s hearts. By bringing individual moments together, it creates a shared expression of love for the city that feels both personal and collective at the same time.
