Dubai Municipality has opened Al Mamzar Creek Beach, one of the emirate’s newest tourism and leisure projects, adding a modern waterfront destination to Dubai’s growing beach landscape. The project reflects the city’s continued focus on developing contemporary public spaces that combine quality of life, sustainability, and integrated recreational experiences.
Covering an area of 2.75 million square feet, the new beach presents an advanced model for waterfront development in Dubai. It brings together modern lifestyle elements, tourism features, and leisure facilities within a well-developed infrastructure designed to offer visitors a comfortable and diverse experience throughout the day.
The project aims to present beach entertainment in a more complete and engaging way, with facilities and activities that suit different groups, including families, sports enthusiasts, and visitors looking for a calm place to relax by the sea.
Al Mamzar Creek Beach includes a variety of distinctive facilities, most notably a floating walkway that gives visitors a unique experience along the waterfront. It also features a 300-metre beach dedicated to night swimming, enhancing the destination’s appeal during both daytime and evening hours.
The beach also offers designated barbecue areas with direct sea views, children’s play areas, an indoor gym, and open spaces for fitness activities. In addition, it includes multi-purpose sports courts, water sports zones, jet ski berths, and shaded rest areas distributed along the beach.
Al Mamzar Corniche forms an important extension of the project, stretching across 1.25 million square feet. It offers a beach experience focused on calmness, privacy, and comfort, within a design that takes into account the needs of different visitors.
The corniche includes a women-only beach that operates around the clock, allowing women to enjoy night swimming in an environment designed with privacy and safety in mind. The area also includes a fully equipped sports club and a secured surrounding wall to ensure complete privacy.
The project also features an art walkway dedicated to showcasing creative works, adding a cultural dimension to the beach experience. Other facilities include children’s play areas, service and entertainment amenities, walking and cycling tracks, shaded rest areas, a space for events and seasonal activities, and a shaded skating area.
Al Mamzar Creek Beach aligns with the goals of Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, which focuses on expanding open public spaces, encouraging healthy and active lifestyles, and supporting community well-being.
The project is also in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to develop coastal areas and improve urban infrastructure. It further supports the Dubai Water and Green Spaces Roadmap 2030, which seeks to strengthen the emirate’s position among the world’s best and most sustainable beach cities.
The opening of Al Mamzar Creek Beach highlights Dubai’s commitment to developing integrated waterfront destinations that support the tourism and leisure sectors, while providing residents and visitors with modern spaces that combine comfort, activity, and quality of life.
