In October 2025, Alif is preparing to launch visitors on an extraordinary journey to outer space. The Space Adventures Festival 2025 will transform Alif into a lively interstellar hub, with fun, learning, and imagination at its heart.
Organized in collaboration with the Lab of the Future and in celebration of International Space Week, the festival unfolds over two consecutive weekends: 11–12 October and 18–19 October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Entry is just AED 50 per person, and it’s free for children under 3. The ticket grants full access to Alif and all festival events, plus a guided 30‑minute tour.

Water Rocket Workshop
Participants design and launch their own water‑propelled rockets, exploring principles of air pressure, propulsion, and aerodynamics. (Sessions at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
Advanced Water Propulsion & Parachute Systems
For ages 15–18, this workshop combines rocket science with parachute deployment systems—teaching how spacecraft safely land back on Earth. (Same times as above.)
Space Docking Simulation
Step into the role of an astronaut and control a digital docking sequence with the International Space Station in a zero-gravity simulation.
Nebula Art Studio
Unleash your creativity as you paint or spray-mist nebula-inspired artwork, drawing from the awe-inspiring imagery of the Hubble Space Telescope.
Asteroid Modeling
Inspired by NASA’s missions to Ryugu and Bennu, visitors can sculpt their own miniature asteroids in this interactive hands-on workshop.
Stellar Chess (Cosmic Edition)
A twist on the classic game: chess pieces transform from nebulae to black holes, telling the life cycle of stars through strategy and movement.
Kids’ Creativity Corners
Storytelling sessions and coloring activities centered around space adventures—tailored for the little ones to imagine, explore, and express.
Guided Tours of Alif
Every 30 minutes, a curated tour leads visitors through a narrative of human creativity—from ancient trade routes to future Mars missions—blending technology, art, and storytelling.
