Dubai is set to open its first “Work from the Park” destination in May 2026, marking a new step in the city’s efforts to enhance public spaces and create more flexible lifestyle options for residents and visitors.
Launched by Dubai Municipality, the initiative is designed to transform public parks into more integrated urban spaces where people can work, relax, and enjoy nature at the same time. The concept reflects a growing demand for flexible work environments that go beyond traditional offices and offer a better balance between productivity and wellbeing.
As part of the project, Dubai Municipality signed two cooperation agreements with Amana Group and Letswork to support the development and operation of these future-ready workspaces across the emirate’s public parks. The partnerships will help build the infrastructure needed to create practical and comfortable outdoor working areas that fit naturally into the park environment.
The first major site under the initiative will open at Al Barsha Pond Park. It will feature modular workspaces built to high sustainability standards, while also being carefully integrated into the park’s natural surroundings. Dubai Municipality also plans to introduce more locations throughout the year, expanding the concept to other public parks across the city.
Badr Anouhi, CEO of the Public Facilities Corporation at Dubai Municipality, stated: ‘The initiative enhances quality of life while simultaneously supporting economic activity.’
