His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, met with a number of Emirati students studying at German universities and institutes as part of His Highness’s state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The meeting took place in a warm and fatherly atmosphere, during which His Highness spoke with the students, learned about their various fields of study and educational paths, and checked on their well-being and academic experience in Germany.
Continued Support for Emirati Students Abroad
His Highness expressed his happiness at meeting the students and checking on their well-being, affirming that all Emirati students outside the country receive the leadership’s attention and continued support.
His Highness said: “All UAE students outside the country are a matter of concern to us, and we will spare no effort in providing the various resources that help them achieve their goals and aspirations to acquire scientific knowledge and attain high academic levels.”
Emirati Students in Germany as Ambassadors of Culture and Values
His Highness emphasized the important role played by Emirati students studying in Germany in strengthening relations between the two countries.
His Highness said: “Emirati students studying in Germany are an important part of the future of UAE-German relations and embody the UAE’s values, culture, and civilized image.”
He also encouraged them to learn more about German society and its culture so they can serve as a cultural bridge between the two peoples and, through their academic and personal experiences, contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and deepening communication and mutual understanding.
Knowledge and Experience to Serve the UAE’s Future
His Highness wished the students continued success and encouraged them to contribute to the UAE’s progress in the coming years by making use of the knowledge, education, and experience they gain during their studies.
Emirati students studying abroad represent an important resource for the country’s development journey, supported by the educational opportunities the UAE provides to help them build their skills and gain exposure to different academic and scientific experiences.
Students Express Appreciation for the Leadership’s Support
For their part, the Emirati students expressed their happiness at meeting His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and thanked him for the special attention and direct follow-up he gives to Emirati students studying abroad.
They also expressed their appreciation for the support and resources provided by the UAE, which help them continue their academic journeys and achieve their educational aspirations.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the delegation accompanying His Highness, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.
