115 Exhibitors at Dubai Stand During Arabian Travel Market 2026 Highlight Strength of Tourism Sector

Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, in cooperation with its partners and relevant stakeholders, is participating in the 33rd edition of Arabian Travel Market, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from September 14 to 17, as the emirate’s tourism sector continues to strengthen growth pathways, reinforce international confidence, and expand investment opportunities.

The Dubai stand at the exhibition brings together the Department of Economy and Tourism and more than 115 exhibitors working across tourism, hospitality, and travel from both the public and private sectors, including hotels, destination management companies, tour operators, and other key industry partners.

The strong presence reflects Dubai’s collaborative approach to developing its tourism ecosystem and strengthening coordination between government entities and private companies, supporting the emirate’s competitiveness as one of the world’s leading tourism destinations.

Government entities represented at the Dubai stand include the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Health Experience, Dubai Municipality, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.

Arabian Travel Market strengthens Dubai’s global presence

Arabian Travel Market is one of the key annual platforms for Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and plays an important role in maintaining strong engagement with the global travel community while building new relationships with international partners.

The event provides an opportunity to exchange insights on emerging trends in tourism and travel, discuss future opportunities, and establish partnerships that contribute to the continued growth of Dubai’s economy and strengthen its presence across international tourism markets.

This year’s exhibition comes as Dubai continues to focus on expanding tourism growth and increasing investment in new projects, destinations, and experiences that enhance the city’s appeal to a wide range of visitors.

Partnerships support the competitiveness of the tourism sector

Issam Kazim, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, part of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, said: “Arabian Travel Market has, over the years, become an important annual gathering for the global travel community in Dubai. It also reflects the emirate’s distinguished position as a leading global destination, thanks to the vision of our wise leadership, which has laid the foundations for growth, resilience and confidence over decades. We always value the pivotal role of our partners in the public and private sectors, who continue to work through productive cooperation and joint coordination to enhance the sector’s competitiveness, enable businesses, open new avenues for growth and focus on long-term strategic objectives.”

He noted that as the tourism sector enters a new phase marked by further growth, investment, and cooperation, Arabian Travel Market is becoming increasingly important as a global platform that brings together leading industry figures and decision-makers, while creating opportunities to strengthen international partnerships, exchange expertise, and accelerate innovation in ways that support Dubai’s economy and enhance its competitiveness.

He added: “We once again welcome the global travel community to Dubai to participate in Arabian Travel Market, and we look forward to continuing our work with our local and international partners to build a tourism sector that is more connected, innovative and future-ready, while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for business and leisure in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

This vision reflects the importance of collaboration across the tourism ecosystem, helping create additional opportunities for companies and investors while accelerating the development of products and experiences that strengthen Dubai’s global competitiveness.

More than 300 travel professionals in the Hosted Buyers Program

The Hosted Buyers Program is one of the main pillars of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism participation in this year’s Arabian Travel Market.

Through the program, Dubai will welcome more than 300 travel industry professionals, in addition to more than 40 tourism-focused media representatives from 40 countries, giving them the opportunity to explore the emirate’s hospitality sector and experience the wide range of tourism offerings available across the city.

The program has been designed to balance strategic business objectives with destination experiences, giving invited buyers the opportunity to engage with Dubai beyond the exhibition halls and build professional and commercial relationships that can grow over the long term.

It also helps international industry professionals gain a broader understanding of Dubai’s tourism capabilities and the choices available across hospitality, entertainment, culture, and urban experiences.

Future projects shaping Dubai’s tourism landscape

Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism is also showcasing a range of new and future projects that support the emirate’s position as a global tourism destination and create additional opportunities for the travel sector to develop new tourism programs and products.

Among the key developments being highlighted is the new passenger terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport within Dubai World Central, a project valued at AED128 billion and considered one of the strategic initiatives shaping the future of aviation, transport, and tourism in Dubai.

The exhibition will also highlight a number of projects included within the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, including the Palm Jebel Ali master plan, the Hatta development plan, and the Jebel Ali Beach development project.

These projects are expected to expand the range of destinations and experiences available to visitors, further diversify Dubai’s tourism offering, and create new opportunities for companies operating across tourism, hospitality, and travel.

New opportunities for travel and tourism companies

The Dubai stand at Arabian Travel Market will host specialized sessions and direct meetings in which Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and its partners will highlight the importance of future projects and development plans, as well as the opportunities they can create for the global travel industry.

These meetings will help tour operators and travel companies learn more about Dubai’s latest developments and create tourism packages and programs targeting different groups of visitors, including those returning to the city and travelers looking to discover it for the first time.

The exhibition also provides an opportunity to strengthen engagement with commercial partners and discuss products and services that can help attract more visitors in the coming period.

Teams from Dubai College of Tourism and Dubai Sustainable Tourism will also take part, providing information about their programs, activities, and initiatives that contribute to the development of the city’s tourism sector, support talent, and encourage more sustainable practices.
