Brand Dubai Launches Sixth Season of Dubai Destinations Summer Campaign

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in cooperation with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, has announced the launch of the sixth season of the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign. The campaign runs from July 7 until August 31 and aims to highlight the leading destinations, events, and experiences that make Dubai a distinctive place to visit during the summer.

The campaign, launched in 2021 by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, is part of ongoing efforts to showcase the wide range of tourism and entertainment options available in Dubai, while strengthening the city’s position as an attractive year-round destination.

The #DubaiDestinations summer campaign features a broad selection of offers and discounts across several entertainment destinations and hotels. It also includes specialized digital guides, interactive videos, and opportunities to benefit from staycation offers while exploring the city’s most prominent landmarks and activities during the season.

The campaign also sheds light on Dubai’s indoor entertainment venues, beaches, waterparks, children’s facilities, world-class hotels and resorts, as well as its advanced infrastructure and urban landmarks, all of which support the emirate’s status as an integrated destination for residents and visitors.

The Dubai Experience

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, part of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, said the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign reflects the strong cooperation among different sectors of Dubai’s tourism ecosystem. He noted that the campaign brings together partners from various fields to showcase experiences that enhance Dubai’s global standing as a preferred year-round tourism destination, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

He added that the continued partnership with Brand Dubai helps integrate the retail sector and summer festivals, including Dubai Summer Surprises, into a comprehensive program featuring offers, events, and tourist attractions suitable for families and visitors from the UAE and abroad.

Al Khaja also emphasized that the campaign’s sixth season builds on Dubai’s world-class tourism infrastructure and its diverse range of indoor entertainment facilities, offering residents and visitors a variety of summer experiences throughout the season.

For her part, Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the #DubaiDestinations campaign is one of the strategic initiatives of the Government of Dubai Media Office. She explained that it aims to highlight the elements that make Dubai a preferred destination to visit during different seasons of the year.

She added that the campaign, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, continues to present content that reflects the Dubai experience, with its diversity, innovation, and quality of life.

Al Suwaidi noted that since its launch, the #DubaiDestinations campaign has succeeded in introducing audiences to the emirate’s cultural diversity and unique tourism experiences. It has also been able to deliver its message to a wide audience inside and outside the UAE, supported by partnerships that have contributed to its success.

A Family-Friendly Destination

Sarah Mardas, a member of the organizing committee of the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign, said the new season presents fresh content that highlights Dubai as an ideal global destination for families during the summer. This is achieved through diverse digital guides and interactive content showcasing a wide range of entertainment options and activities that suit different ages and interests.

She added that the campaign helps residents and visitors make the most of the experiences offered by the city. She also noted that this year’s edition will include the production of a series of visual materials with the participation of a select group of content creators and influencers in the UAE, who will document their summer experiences in Dubai across social media platforms. This will help expand the campaign’s reach to a wider audience around the world.

In its sixth season, the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign continues to highlight the variety of experiences offered by the emirate, combining entertainment, hospitality, shopping, and family activities. The campaign further strengthens Dubai’s position as a complete summer destination for both residents and visitors.
