UAE University has obtained full international accreditation from the German accreditation agency AQAS for three academic programs offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, after completing all required conditions and accreditation requirements.
The accreditation covers the Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and the Bachelor of Arts in Translation Studies, both offered by the Department of Languages and Literature, in addition to the Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, which is offered by the Department of Cognitive Sciences.
AQAS confirmed that the three programs will remain accredited until March 31, 2031. This recognition strengthens the academic standing of the programs and supports the university’s efforts to provide higher education that meets recognized international standards.
Professor Mohammed bin Huwaidin, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, said the full accreditation of the three programs reflects the college’s commitment to maintaining academic quality standards and continuing to develop its educational programs in line with higher education requirements and students’ needs.
This accreditation represents an important step in UAE University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic outcomes and reinforce its position among universities that operate according to clear international standards, particularly in the fields of English literature, translation, and linguistics.
