His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates, guided by the directives of its leadership, believes in the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise among governments as an effective tool for accelerating government modernization, developing capabilities, and benefiting from successful experiences and models. These efforts contribute to improving government efficiency and enhancing the quality of life of communities.

His remarks came as he received a government delegation from the Lebanese Republic visiting the UAE to learn about some of the leading experiences and practices developed by the UAE Government in government modernization, future readiness, service development, and accelerated delivery.

Knowledge Exchange Shortens the Path to Government Development

His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi said: “Under the directives of the UAE leadership, we are committed to sharing our government experiences and expertise with brotherly and friendly countries, based on our belief that exchanging successful experiences shortens the distance to development and contributes to building governments that are more efficient, agile, and future-ready, and capable of turning challenges and changes into opportunities that positively impact the lives of communities.”

This approach reflects the UAE’s commitment to expanding government cooperation and knowledge exchange with brotherly and friendly countries, while benefiting from successful practical experiences to advance government systems and strengthen their readiness to respond to future changes.

UAE-Lebanon Cooperation to Support Government Modernization

His Excellency added: “Cooperation with the Government of the Lebanese Republic is an extension of the brotherly relations between the two countries, and through it, we look forward to opening new horizons for exchanging expertise and developing practical areas of cooperation that support government modernization efforts and serve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.”

This cooperation is part of the strong fraternal relations between the UAE and the Lebanese Republic and reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the exchange of government expertise and explore new practical areas that support institutional development and improve government performance.

Lebanese Government Delegation Learns About the UAE Experience

The Lebanese government delegation included Minister of Economy and Trade Dr. Amer Bisat, Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence and Minister of the Displaced Dr. Kamal Shehadi, as well as a number of government officials.

The visit was organized by the Government Experience Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs to introduce the delegation to some of the leading practices, models, and projects developed by the UAE Government across various areas of government work.

The visit also provided the delegation with an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the UAE’s experience in government modernization, service development, future readiness, and accelerated delivery, creating further opportunities for knowledge exchange and benefiting from successful practices.
