UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, has conferred the First Class Order of Zayed II on the crew of a flydubai aircraft in recognition of the courage they demonstrated and their role in ensuring passenger safety during an incident involving one of the airline’s flights on 30 September.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, presented the crew members with the honours, praising their courage, strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring the security and safety of passengers.

During the ceremony, the crew members expressed their gratitude to His Highness the President for the recognition and their pride in receiving the honour.
The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, alongside several officials.
