His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, met with his teams and a number of leaders and senior officials during the “New Government Season Forum 2026–2027,” which discussed the main government priorities, projects, and key directions for the next phase.
The meeting was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, as part of the annual gathering that brings together government teams to review achievements and outline the priorities of the new government season.
The forum reaffirmed the UAE Government’s continued focus on accelerating delivery, improving performance efficiency, strengthening integration among government entities, and further developing services and projects that support the UAE’s comprehensive development journey.
Praising Achievements and Calling for Greater Efforts
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the achievements of the teams over the past period and the efforts they have made to enhance government efficiency, accelerate the implementation of national priorities, and improve the quality of services.
His Highness also directed government teams to double their efforts with the start of the new season, accelerate the implementation of projects and priorities, and strengthen cooperation and integration among different government entities and teams.
The priorities for the next phase also emphasize the importance of continuing to develop government work models that are efficient, flexible, and proactive, while placing results and positive impact on society at the center of government action.
This approach reflects the leadership’s commitment to continuously building on previous achievements rather than stopping at any particular level of success, while raising ambitions in a way that matches the UAE’s position and its vision for the future.
A New Season with Renewed Energy
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “At the beginning of every government season, I start my work by meeting with the team. With God’s blessing, we begin a new season, with renewed energy, strong determination, and ambitions worthy of our nation.”
His Highness added: “My message to my team is this: I want the Government of the United Arab Emirates to be the best government in the world, and what lies ahead will be even greater, God willing.”
The words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reflect a vision based on renewing ambition at the beginning of every new phase and building on previous successes to move government performance toward even higher levels of excellence.
The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, along with a number of ministers and senior officials.

The New Government Season Forum reviewed the most important achievements of the previous government season, while also discussing a range of priorities, initiatives, and projects that will form key pillars of government work during the coming period.
