Tesla has opened reservations for its new Roadster sports car through its official website in the United Arab Emirates, giving customers interested in high-performance electric vehicles the opportunity to reserve the upcoming model.
The new Roadster is offered in two variants available for public reservation, Performance and Thrust, along with a third version called Rocket, which is reserved exclusively for invited customers. Each version comes with different features and technical capabilities.
The availability of Roadster reservations in the UAE places the country among the markets where customers can reserve Tesla’s latest electric sports car, as interest in advanced vehicle technology and modern mobility solutions continues to grow.
New Tesla Roadster Expands Electric Sports Car Options in the UAE
The opening of Tesla Roadster reservations in the UAE introduces another option for customers interested in electric sports cars, particularly those looking for advanced acceleration, stability, and aerodynamic technologies.
Customers in the Emirates can now explore the available versions and submit reservation requests online, subject to the conditions and limited quantities specified by the company.
The three versions differ in their equipment and announced capabilities. The Performance variant focuses on handling and stability systems, while the Thrust version adds technology designed to improve acceleration. The Rocket version takes a different approach, using thrusters positioned around the vehicle’s body.
The move also adds to the range of modern vehicles and advanced automotive technologies available to customers in the UAE.
Tesla Roadster Thrust Targets 0 to 97 km/h in Under One Second
The Thrust version of the new Tesla Roadster features technology developed to deliver exceptionally quick acceleration, including cold-gas thrusters installed at the rear of the vehicle.
According to Tesla’s published specifications, these thrusters are designed to allow the car to accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph, approximately 97 km/h, in less than one second.
The Thrust model has two seats and incorporates unconventional engineering solutions intended to enhance the performance of electric sports cars.
The Performance version, meanwhile, comes equipped with active aerodynamic systems and a multi-mode suction system designed to improve the vehicle’s grip and stability while driving.
Like the Thrust, the Performance variant has two seats, although its equipment differs, giving each model its own technical characteristics and intended performance capabilities.
These figures and features remain part of Tesla’s announced specifications, with the final details still awaiting confirmation as development continues.
Tesla Roadster Rocket Introduces an Exclusive Version With Unconventional Flight Technology
Alongside the two versions available for reservation in the UAE, Tesla has introduced a special Roadster variant called Rocket, which differs from the other models through its single-seat layout and technical equipment.
The Rocket version uses a series of thrusters positioned around the vehicle’s body. According to the company’s description, these are designed to support forward and upward movement while also controlling rotation, as part of a system Tesla describes as intended for flight.
Unlike the Performance and Thrust models, the Rocket version is available only to customers who receive a special invitation from Tesla. It cannot be reserved through the standard booking process.
Tesla has also clarified that the Rocket is not approved for use on public roads and is not available in every region.
These restrictions distinguish the Rocket from the other Roadster versions, both in terms of how customers can obtain it and where it may be used.
Tesla Roadster Thrust Reservations in the UAE Require AED 1.02 Million in Payments
For customers interested in reserving the Thrust version in the UAE, Tesla has outlined the payments required to complete the reservation process.
An initial payment of AED 20,000 is required when submitting the online request, followed by an additional AED 1 million payment within 10 days.
This brings the total reservation payments for the Thrust variant to AED 1.02 million. However, the amount does not represent the vehicle’s final purchase price.
Tesla has also limited reservations to one vehicle per customer because of the restricted quantities available. The company may cancel duplicate requests or reservations that do not meet the payment requirements.
Tesla Roadster Performance Available With AED 210,000 in Reservation Payments
Customers choosing the Performance version can reserve the vehicle in the UAE with total required payments of AED 210,000.
The process begins with an initial payment of AED 20,000 when the reservation request is submitted. A further AED 190,000 must then be paid within 10 days.
The same requirement to complete payments within the specified period applies to this version. Under Tesla’s reservation agreement, a booking is not considered final until the company receives the required amounts.
Customers can select their preferred Roadster version and submit a reservation through Tesla’s website, where the payment requirements for each option are outlined.
